• Inspect coupling for wear and damage.
• Pump and motor alignment checks.
• Check for free rotation of pump and motor.
• Check gear end bearing and shaft movement axially and radially.
• Check for wear and damage.
• Check condition of oil in gearbox and carry out oil change.
• Check drive end bearings and shaft movement radially.
• Check condition of grease in front bearings.
• Check mechanical seal leakage.
• Check flanking excess scroll movement and wear in gears.

Inspect Internal Relief Valve for the following:

i. Valve piston and seat face condition.

ii. Valve piston bore clearance.

iii. Gland leakage.

iv. Free movement in working parts.

v. Resetting of Relief Valve.
